Why this program?
Urban planning and construction play a crucial role in reducing CO2 emissions and adapting our cities, neighborhoods and buildings to climate change. That means that a fundamental shift to interdisciplinary, holistic planning is necessary. That is where this certificate program comes in: “Ecological Building” was developed as a component of the new continuing education courses on sustainable buildings and neighborhoods in close cooperation with the Chair for Energy-efficient and Sustainable Design and Building at the Technical University of Munich . Experienced lecturers prepare specialists and managers for the challenges of the construction industry by integrating the latest research. This informs our engaged teachers as they convey an integral planning approach to implementing sustainable buildings,
